AssaultCube or ActionCube is a first person shoother game based on SDL engine Cube. The Goal of this game is to play in a team match game multiplayer. To make this job, authors of this game make a good code for gaming online with low bandwith consumption. In fact Developers say that is possible to play with an old 56K modem.
Another important think is that you can play with AssaultCube in an old PC as a Pentium 3 800mhz with NVIDIA Geforce2 VideoCard. AssaultCube Game is portable in a USB pendrive because is provided in a 19MB package file. Also, you can edit its maps and modify entire game code because AssaultCube is OpenSource as Cube Engine. AssaultCube runs in every Linux Desktop as: Ubuntu (Gutsy 7.10 – Feisty Fawn), Debian (Sarge – Etch – Sid – Lenny), Gentoo, Mandriva, Redhat, Fedora, Suse and OpenSuse.
