		<description>That looks overdone and is not a good example of HDR.
It looks more like it has been raped by too many PS-filters. 

Unfortunately it seems like a lot of people are thinking that this particular &quot;look&quot; is the same as HDR.
Usually HDR can improve on an image with huge contrasts. Like a sunlit mountainside and the shadowcast valley behind.

The bright horizon would probably have been completely overblown if a normal photo had been taken with exposure set on the dark ground, but through HDR both have details.
