October 9, 2007

What is RPMfusion?

It starts to merge The Dribble, Freshrpms and Livna teams.
This project tries to collect many packagers from third party repository to build a single repository to add on Fedora and Red Hat Enterprise. They make two repositories: free and non-free. Where free contain only OpenSource Software that Fedora developers can’t include as standard packages, while non-free include all software that are not OpenSource.
This new repository try to provide support for all testing versions including development version for the most important CPU architecture: i386, ppc, ppc64 and x86_64.
