Have you never used RpgMaker XP on windows? This Article don’t talks about RpgMaker XP for windows installed on Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, RedHat, Fedora, Gentoo) using Wine Library, but it talks about a tool to make games on Linux as the same simplicity of making games with RpgMaker XP.


What is the tool? Its name is StarLogo TNG.
TNG means: “The Nex Generation” of StarLogo. If you want develop simple games under Linux, you have to try StarLogo TNG. You don’t have a good practice with programming languages? No problem! StarLogo TNG comes with a visual logic editor to make actions, events, load models and much more into your game. It also include compatibility with 3d models in MD3 (Quake3) and OBJ for Terrain editor. It comes Open Source and it’s written in Java, so is cross-platform. In fact it runs also on Mac OSX and Windows XP/Vista.
